La lune de fleurs | Cross-disciplinary spatial installation

Flowers are where the conversation begins.

For its current programme, FLOWER PROJECT presents la lune de fleurs 花月 — a cross-disciplinary spatial installation uniting contemporary floral art, fine illustration, and classic calligraphy into a single harmonious composition.

At the heart of the gallery, a spherical floral architecture suspends in mid-air as a sculptural representation of the moon. Structural branches interweave to form a cosmic, lunar boundary, within which vibrant orchids and golden blooms gather and burst forth, capturing both the raw energy of nature and the timeless elegance of the harvest moon.

Hovering across the glass facade, golden calligraphy and playful ink rabbits are hand-drawn directly onto the glass, adding an ethereal, tactile dimension to the spatial installation. Rather than serving as an explanation, the hand-drawn brushwork and illustrations become part of the artistic language itself, dancing alongside the moving shadows of the suspended floral moon:

Nature and culture meet through two distinct yet fluid languages — the living rhythm of botanicals, the permanence of gold calligraphy, and the imaginative spirit of hand-drawn glass illustration.

Through this three-way dialogue with light, glass, and spatial volume, the work invites viewers to step into a shared moment under the same sky, celebrating reunion, art, and the beauty of human connection.

BEYOND BLOOMS

A flower is only the beginning.

At FLOWER PROJECT, flowers are treated as a medium — capable of becoming form, space, image, language, and a means of connection between people and ideas.

Beyond Blooms is an ongoing exploration of what happens when floral art moves beyond the familiar boundaries of floristry and enters into dialogue with other artistic disciplines.

Flowers are the beginning.
What follows is limitless.
